GROWING
EXPONENTIALLY

Jobs
Recharge Industries™ will create between 500 and 750 jobs in its initial phase, with roughly 2,500 direct jobs created once at full production and another 2,000 indirect and induced employment opportunities created by the battery production facility.
To support these workforce opportunities, Recharge Industries™ is committed to training and upskilling local and regional workers, as demonstrated by a MOU signed with The Gordon TAFE to create initiatives aimed at preparing and sustaining advanced manufacturing workers.

Economy
As evaluated by one of the world’s most prestigious professional services through an economic impact analysis, Recharge Industries™ is set to benefit both the Australian Federal and Victorian State Governments by $3 billion respectively over the next 20 years.
The report considers both the economic impact generated by Recharge Industries™ battery production facility and the economic impact generated by co-location partners who are set to establish or expand existing operations in Australia.

Cambois Hub
Research is currently being undertaken to give Recharge Industries™ a clear picture of the economic impact its Cambois Gigafactory will have on the region. At this stage, estimates indicate 3000 jobs will be located in the North East of England and more in the supply chain, with the strength of the economy benefitting from the facility too.

Avalon Hub
Avalon Airport Industrial Precinct has been chosen for its accessibility to critical infrastructure including road, rail, international airport, and seaport. It is close to Melbourne, one of Australia’s largest capital cities, which is important for the attraction of skills and talent regionally and internationally.
